“You Shall Not Pass!”Obama Is In Dallas Today

President Obama is in Dallas today, July 12, attending a memorial service at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center for fallen (or risen?) policemen, Brent Thompson, Patrick Zamarripa, Michael Krol, Lorne Ahrens and Michael Smith.

He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8

To the People of Dallas,

Think on these brave men and their service and sacrifice when you listen to leftist talking points on gun control and racism during what is supposed to be a memorial service. You know who you are; you don’t need someone coming here to explain you to the rest of the country least of all to yourselves. The people of Dallas have shown dignity, unity and understanding these last few days. The media and Obama try to define the problem and solution for you. Middle America has been described as “clinging to guns and religion” by these same people. Don’t be deceived with the caricatures and redirection of responsibility. Stand your common ground as you have been known to do, both those on the Right and those on the Left. Do not let the Balrog (LOTR) pass between you.

The leftist media and politicians breathe division and flame–I mean blame–in subjective terms that incite more violence and outrage. May they have no influence here as they infect cities like Baltimore, Ferguson, St. Paul… Dallas, be the light that drives out the darkness (MLK), the darkness that whispers in a lost veteran’s ear, tempting him to offense and hate and rage, calling him to arms in the shadows. All people of good will, persist as an example of what is true and good, so the fallen, destroyed, angry souls may see you for who you really are …and emerge from the depths of Moria (LOTR) as freed men and women.

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things…and the God of peace will be with you.
Philippians 4:8-9
